One of my favorite parts of the book publishing process is seeing the cover for the first time. It’s the first chance I get to experience my book the way the consumer does.
A Thousand Sleepless Nights releases in October and is a book I’m very excited about. It’s about a woman battling cancer while at the same time fighting regrets about her past, the kind of mother she was, the wife she was. It’s about a husband desperately trying to support his wife and heal the wounds that have never fully mended. It’s about a family torn apart by neglect and bitterness.
If you’ve ever been touched by cancer, either personally or through a family member, relative, friend, or neighbor, this book is for you.
This is a book you can pass along to your mother, your grandmother, your daughter, your sister (or father, grandfather, son, or brother).
Being a cancer survivor myself much of the inspiration for the story was drawn from my own experiences, my own emotional blueprint, my own questions and fears and depression, and ultimately, my own hope and faith that God truly is bigger than anything we face here on earth.
Mark your calendars for October; follow this blog; like us on Facebook. You don’t want to miss this one.
Mike,
I LOVE the cover. I can tell this is one I’m going to have to stock up on the Kleenex for. Can’t wait.
great cover, can’t wait to read it
Intriguing cover – the riderless horse and title combine to catch the interest.
Excelsior!
Having grown up on a farm with lots of horses I find the cover awesome and can’t wait to see how it relates to the story. Wonderful title.
Love that you are branching out. Mike. This should be fun! And lots of work.
Blessings,
Jill
This looks great, Mike!! I look forward to reading this! If this is based on your experience, it has to be good. And I mean that is the nicest, most appropriate way!
